Book Review of Secrets of the Revolution by Megan Soja
Sweet romance, rich history, and biblical faith bring early Boston to life. My rating: ★★★★★ Megan Soja has given readers another sweet, faith-filled, historically authentic story of Boston on the eve of the American Revolution. The history really comes alive, and I wasn’t surprised to read the author’s note...

Book Review of A Song Unheard by Roseanna M. White
Great characters, good writing, and twisty suspense (but a caveat as well). My rating: ★★★★☆ Quite some time ago, I read and enjoyed A Name Unknown, the first book in this series. Eventually, I ran across A Song Unheard and remembered my desire to continue the series. So I reread the first book...
Book Review of A Name Unknown by Roseanna M. White
Fascinating characters worth rooting for, simple faith worth remembering, slow and steady transformation worth rereading. (And it’s about books!) There are not enough novels that focus on the people “behind the scenes” of more famous historical figures or events. Even fewer do it this well. ...
Book Review of River to Redemption by Ann H. Gabhart
My book review of River to Redemption: Based on a true story, interesting history and sweet romance but a missed opportunity for strong womanhood. My rating: ★★★★☆ I found it fascinating that this book was based on a true story. I was not familiar with the cholera epidemic in this era, and I had never heard of...
